Cluster technology
The difference to our competitors is, that we host your web site on a cluster of machines, not on a single machine. The redundant load balancer checks the load of each server and distributes the requests to the server with the lowest load, even if the load balancer detects that a server has failed, traffic is automatically redirected to the remaining servers.

This technology ensures that your website is always fast and available, because it does not depend on a single server.

Due to maintenance windows there is no downtime, because a single machine can be seperated from the cluster easily.

High performance data base servers
Our data bases are not on the same physical machines as the web servers. The performance increases, because the web servers cannot be over loaded by data bases, and the data base servers are special machines configured for high load.

This is the reason why data base host is not "localhost", but the server as shown in the ControlPanel.

Switchable PHP version
You can switch the PHP version on the fly in the ControlPanel. So you can choose your preferred verions for your needs. The selected version is instant active and available.

Direct access to backup files
We do backups several times the day. The stored backup files are up to 48 hours old. You have direct access via FTP to the stored files at midnight at the current day and at midnight at yesterday.

Easy configuration and account administration
Our ControlPanel has been developed for our advanced and high reliable system architecture. You can do all configurations online in the ControlPanel and it works together with our billing software.

This is the reason why we are able to offer you a billing on a daily basis for product changes and additional services. You also have access to all your invoices including the payment history of each invoice, as well as an overview of your account balance.

The ControlPanel is easy to use and misconfiguration due to incorrect inputs is not possible. To use the ControlPanel no technical skills are needed, but you can do any configuration you like, to fit your hosting needs. Flexibility for advanced users
emerion offers programmers the possibility to access the ControlPanel via an Application Interface (API). With this API it is possible to create and manage email addresses for example. So you can implement the email address management in to your software.
